COOLPIX S510 is pocket camera type, which is stylish and high tech feature. Although this camera body is small enough (88 x 51 x 22 mm), but it has image stabilizer built in. Image Processor

With the power of EXPEED digital image processing concept and incorporating the precision optics of a NIKKOR lens, the COOLPIX S510 is built to realize optimum performance and maximum image quality. This camera has 8.1 Mega Pixel sensor size, you can print the result as large as 16 x 20 inches. With the light sensitivity up to ISO 2000, you can shot in lower light conditions or in fast moving conditions

Lens

You can trust the precision optics of its 3x Zoom-Nikkor lens and a new digital image-processing engine it can deliver a fast response and images that boast true-to-life colour. .Digital zoom: up to 4x (35mm [135] format picture angle: 420mm), you can make your shot more clearly and sharp. With focus range (from lens):1 ft., 7.7 in. (50cm) to infinity, Macro close-up mode: 5.9 in. (15cm) to infinity, you can make any shot from wide angle until zoom shot.

Body

With the body created from stainless steel material. You will get the luxury and stylish digital camera. The COOLPIX S510 will be available in a choice of Silver, Pink and Urban Black body colours. With large 2.5inch LCD monitor featuring 230,000 dots of high resolution, a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees, anti-reflection coating for better display in bright situations, and a new acrylic panel that prevents scratches and fingerprints.

Image Stabilization

This is the key feature of this camera. This camera has built in image stabilization and known as the smallest camera with this technology. Field proven technology originally developed for interchangeable lenses used in Nikon SLR camera systems, optical lens shift VR image stabilisation counteracts the effects of camera shake in lower light or when shooting to help achieve sharper results. Active full time, VR also stabilises images displayed on the 2.5in high-resolution LCD monitor for easier framing and more reassured shooting
