In September 2007, Casio announced two products of their compact digital camera, one of them is Casio EX-V8. This Casio EX-8 is a slim compact camera with latest digital technology, big zoom, anti shake, face detection and more.

 

Big zoom for compact camera

This camera has 7x optical zoom, its a big zoom among other compact cameras. With this big zoom you can shot object from far away. The detailed object is one of the value of this zoom camera, whether you use the camera for video or picture mode. With the high-definition zoom quickly expands to a maximum of 33.2x so you can switch from wide angle to telephoto (for capturing images at adistance up close) at the same high resolution level.

 

Image Stabilization

Almost digital camera has this image stabilization sensor, this is the most required the technology in today digital camera world. Casio EX-V8 has four advanced image stabilization technologies. These Anti-Blur technologies allow you to maintain focus and ensure sharpening of your photos and video.

 

Although your object is moving or still picture you can shot with the same quality result. Thanks to the highly sensitivity of this camera, this camera has sensitivity up to ISO1600, this is perfect for shooting object in low light condition or moving object.

 

CCD Shift Stabilization will reduce soft images by allowing for handshake in dim lighting, and Casio’s enhanced Anti-Shake DSP, which reduces blur from shaky hands or moving subjects, combines with a new motion analysis technology to select the right ISO sensitivity and shutter speed to capture subjects based on their speed and direction. Even at high-zoom settings, the Exilim reduces image blur with its stabilization technologies, and when recording in video mode, a special mode kicks in to keep the action rolling smoothly.

 

High Quality Video Mode with YouTube Capture Mode

Casio EX-V8 has H.264 standard technology for capturing video. With this technology, your video will be in super quality video result, that can be easily to be uploaded in YouTube website or other video sharing websites.

 

The camera comes with bundled software allowing uploads to the YouTube server without even logging into the website. You can capture your spontaneous moments and seamlessly transition them to YouTube.

 

Thanks to the power of Exilim Engine 2.0 high-performance image processing module, you can take high quality movies to be recorded at the high compression rate with H.264 standard. The video result has 30 frames per second at 640 x 480 the reduced white speck noise in playback.

 

Face-Detection/Recognition

Face detection is other required technology in today digital camera world. With this technology your camera will know with part of the image should be focused. When you shot a people picture, the face will sharp and clear because this technology will recognize face and make focus on it. This quick-performance feature focuses on your subject with a Frame/Focus Lock that automatically tracks until the instant the shutter is pressed – making for a professional photo finish.
