The Sony T Series is code for Sony slim camera type. In August 2007, Sony announced the replacement camera for Sony DSC-T100, it is Sony DSC-T200.

 

With dimension 93.5 x 59.3 x 20.4 mm (3.7 x 2.3 x 0.8 in) this camera is slim enough. It is really pocket camera, you can save your camera in your pocket. Compact Camera With Huge Display and Touch Screen Panel

The display size is so big for slim camera, it has 3.5 inch widescreen touch panel LCD screen. With “touch panel operation”, it makes easily when managing configurations, managing photos, when seeing images which have been shot. It is also comfortable with for your eyes.

 

This high resolution LCD panel has approximately 230,000 dot plus. You can see the photo in high resolution, clearly and in detail. This LCD display also support widescreen photo 16:9, and common size 4:3. With Clear Photo LCD Plus™ technology it can display photos in superb clarity and natural color. This LCD also have AR (anti-reflective) coating technology, excellent visibility even in bright sunlight.

You will never find many buttons like other digital cameras. The buttons has been replaced by touch screen panel. Widescreen touch-panel LCD replaces small buttons with simple on-screen icons and a user-friendly interface that make camera operation faster and simpler. In shooting mode, you can touch any point on screen to focus on the person or object you’ve selected and touch and zoom in playback mode to concentrate on your subject.

With the effective sensor size 8.1 MP, this is perfect for high resolution and big photo.With the Sony® Super HAD™ (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD technology it allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise. Even in large print (A3 size) this 8,100,000 effective pixel is more than enough.

With Carl 5x Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens optical zoom lens, its perfect for daily shooting, brings you even closer to the action, for great action shots, distant landscape views and dramatic portraits .

Slim Camera with Face Detection Feature

Although this camera is slim camera, it have many great features. One of this feature is face detection technology. The face detection technology is base on smile face recognition. If you shot a smile person as object, this camera automatically will focus to his/her face. Even the target is not in smiley face, this camera can detect automatically because of Sony Face Detection technology.

 

With Sony Face Detection technology, it recognizes up to 8 faces in a photo and automatically controls focus, exposure, color and flash to bring out the best in everyone. High Definition (HD) Technology
