The camera is easy to navigate with intuitive buttons attractively placed on the back. The 2.5″ LTPS TFT LCD, scratch-resistant acrylic panel display offers a bright and clear look at the photo being taken or to review past shots and video clips. A 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom is included for crystal clear distance shots.
The DCC-725 features 15 picture-taking modes to enhance image quality in common challenging shooting situations. The picture taking modes include: Program, movie, voice recording, portrait, landscape, sunset, night scene, text, back light, kids, snow, food, fireworks, building and quick mode.
In addition to the numerous picture-taking modes, Norcent includes many white balance settings to simplify certain shooting situations: manual, daylight, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent, and custom white balance settings. An assortment of photo effects such as black & white, sepia, negative art, mosaic and RGB filter are also included allowing for personalization of photographs. For action shots, the Burst mode will capture the excitement in a series of 4 images.
Movie mode captures video clips with resolutions of 640 x 480, 320 x 240, or 160 x 120 and will record until the flash card is full. The DCC-725 also includes a built-in flash with auto, forced on, forced off, slow sync and red-eye reduction modes
Additional features include 16MB of internal memory plus an SD card slot. The camera is also multilingual with numerous language options such as: English, German, French, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, Russian, Portuguese, Czech, Polish, Turkish and Hungarian
The DCC 725 arrives with a complete accessory package and is ready to go with a USB Cable, AV Cable, Wrist Strap, Camera Bag, User Manual and Software CD.
