This comfortable and classic rocking chair is crafted by Dixie Seating Company from durable North American hardwoods - the same wood used in Louisville Slugger baseball bats! No glue is used in the construction of the Georgetown Woven Rocker. The precisely machined components are connected using pressure clamping which allows the wood to naturally expand and contract with weather changes. This chair ships fully assembled except for the runners which need to be nailed into place.The Weathermaster finish applied to this chair will help protect if from the elements however the Georgetown Woven Rocker is designed for use on a covered porch.
